I try to promote my paint work, because it's my thing... but I do a lot of vinyl work as well. Here are quite a few different jobs...

Parade toy... (a little Astro)
This is what I started with, the engine was shot with no available parts, so it needed a new drive train installed.
First I stretched the frame...Then I made the shape of the van...
I'm getting closer...
Started paint...
Flames. :)
Kind of looks familiar...
I think I nailed it! :)
Here's the final pay off...
I plan on putting a few horns and some strobe lights for parades... :)
Everything fit in perfect. I was so surprised how smoothly it went.
She runs at a brisk walking pace. It's almost hard to keep up with it without jogging.
The first parade is this Saturday, my son Eli can't wait. :)

LMR Fire...
This is another of Gary's customers. This department loves hand painted lettering and pinstripes. All of the side lettering is painted. The front and rear lettering is reflective vinyl.
More paint...
I had a chance to work on a very nice IH the other day. I get to meet the nicest people through this work...

Painting a safe...
Replica toy...
I painted and lettered this for a customer of mine in-time for Christmas. He had me do one for him, and one for his brother. It duplicates a truck that their dad had in the 1940's.

Autorama 2017...
I contacted Autorama after the first of the year, wondering if they would be interested in having my van in the show... I figured it was a long shot, but you never know until you ask.
To my surprise they accepted it! I was so excited! I had a ton of fun, and got a lot of great exposure.
Opening day and I pulled Gary's box and letter out to display it... I shared so many conversations about Gary. I'm very thankful for him sharing his craft with me.
Here are a few cars from the show. There were over 800 vehicles there!

Remembering a friend...
I had some fun with paint and brush. Gary Wills of Pioneer Signs has lettered the Summerfield Twp. Fire Department's trucks since the late '60's. I was the first guy they called after he passed. I am so proud to carry on this craft. I will always be grateful to my awesome teacher! This is all hand painted...
More later,
Kurt
